Refund Policy

A 30-day money-back guarantee, and exactly how to claim it.

Last updated 25 August 2026

1. The 30-day money-back guarantee

If Evercite isn't right for you, email support@evercite.ai within 30 days of a workspace's first subscription payment and we will refund it in full. You do not need to give a reason.

The window runs for 30 calendar days from the date of the charge, not from the date you signed up. Your 14-day free trial is not a charge, so the clock starts when the trial converts and the first payment is taken.

2. What qualifies

The guarantee covers:

  • Your first subscription payment on a workspace, refunded in full within 30 days.
  • A payment taken in error — for example a charge after you cancelled, or a duplicate charge. These are refunded whenever we find them, with no time limit.
  • A payment taken while the service was unusable for reasons on our side, assessed case by case. This is a goodwill remedy and does not create a service level agreement.

Outside those cases we generally do not refund:

  • Renewal payments after the first 30-day window, since you can cancel at any time before a renewal.
  • Partial or unused portions of a month you have already started.
  • Accounts terminated for a breach of our Terms of Service.

This is our stated position rather than a limit on your legal rights. If consumer law where you live gives you a stronger right to a refund, that law applies and we will honour it.

3. How to request a refund

Email support@evercite.ai from the address on the account, and tell us the workspace name. Nothing else is needed — there is no form to complete and no cancellation interview.

We aim to acknowledge every request within one business day and to approve or explain our decision within five business days.

4. How refunds are processed

Paddle.com Market Ltd is our Merchant of Record. Paddle is the seller of record for your purchase, issued your invoice, and is the party that executes the refund. Once we approve a request we instruct Paddle, and Paddle returns the money to the original payment method — we cannot refund to a different card or account.

Paddle typically releases a refund within three to five business days. How quickly it appears on your statement after that is set by your bank or card issuer, and can add several more days. Refunds include any tax or VAT that was charged.

You can also raise a refund request directly with Paddle using the receipt they emailed you. Either route reaches the same place.

5. Cancelling instead

If you simply want to stop paying, cancel from billing settings in the application. Cancellation stops future renewals and keeps your access until the end of the period you have already paid for. Cancelling during the 14-day trial means no charge is ever taken, so no refund is needed.
